After the devastating Dorian two weeks back, The Bahamas was given yet another hurricane warning by the US National Weather. It was named as “Category 5 hurricane as it had destroyed the commonwealth’s northwest region.”
The weather report said that the storm Humberto is probably to hit the northwest Bahamas by late night on Friday which covers Abaco Islands. But it was also said that there won’t be any heavy rains instead there will be 2 to 4 cms of rain.
Earlier, the Abaco Islands witnessed a severe strike by Dorian which broke boats, topsy-turvy cars in the road. Post the hurricane the whole place was crammed with trampled homes, distorted play areas, and destroyed all the business places.
The death rate by Dorian reached 50 whereas 1,300 remain clueless. The White House officials stated on Wednesday that the United States will not give temporary security to people from the Bahamas.
This is because the government has already allowed 300,000 people from over 10 countries that had been affected by Haiti’s earthquake.
The Bahamians are allowed to stay in the U.S on a temporary basis provided they have proper travel documents but will not be given any work permits. As per reports around 1500 people have come to the U.S from the Bahamas after Hurricane Dorian.
