Janelle Bynum a black American lawmaker has stated that her teenage daughter was verbally assaulted as she and her pals were hanging out in a parking space.

The mom of 17 yr old expressed her fury on social media that Chrissy and her buddies were in a car at the Clackamas Town Center parking in Portland. They were actually having a discussion on how to spend the evening and security came in and told they were “loitering,” for a long time.

They were puzzled by hearing the word but they were sure that it was portraying them. “And for what???” Bynum stated. She also added that the teenagers were planning their next Saturday outings as one of them had not brought her license as they were sent back from an R-rated film.

The representative who is a democrat is the only one black American at the Oregon Legislation and she stated the incident as “loiter-in.”

She also pointed out “Go see how long it takes to be asked to leave the mall by mall security. Sit in the food court, sit in your car on the phone, sit on the benches,” Bynum wrote on Facebook. “Let’s figure out if there’s a difference between loitering or being the wrong color.”

Further, Janelle said that she went through the regulations of the mall where there was no time limit or to be in parking.

On the contrary, the Managing in-charge of the mall Dennis Curtis stated that: “highest priority is the safety and well-being of our guests, retailers, and everyone who visits our property. “Our policies, applicable in this case, are designed with that priority in mind.”

He also added saying that they absolutely respect the solitude of our visitors and have spoke to Bynum regarding the issue. We make sure that all our outlets embrace all people despite their color or race.

However, Bynum told that an executive at the mall sent her a text that was “gathering information,” on the issue. She shared: “This is what people don’t understand about discrimination. You can be vigilant about criminal activity while disproportionately and illegally targeting certain people based on race. It’s called collateral damage.”

This is not the first time Bynum is on the media, last year women called the cops as she saw Bynum knocking her door while canvassing for re-election. But later the police informed that the women thought she was covering the vicinity and was “suspicious.”

Several events are occurring now and then as people reach out to police on blacks who are innocent. The incidents have been trending as #LivingWhileBlack.

So to eradicate all these Bynum brought in a bill which was passed and brought as a rule in August where people who are racially affected can reach out to 911 and fine them up to 250$.
