From Skating to Modeling it’s Daniel Lewis Son Kane!

Hailing from a filmy background Kane Day-Lewis the son of Daniel Lewis has chosen Modeling as his profession. Bumping into his family well-wisher and ace designer Karl Lagerfeld at Paris at his 19 years he just moved on from being a skater to a ramp walk model.

The soon turned model walked for Chanel and did various campaigns for Prada. He stated that: “My mum and Karl Lagerfeld go way back. I first met him as a kid alongside her – they were great friends,” says Kane. “I’ll always be so grateful that I got to be a part of Karl’s legacy before he left us, too.”

Though he was not recognized at first later he was as he was born to the famous parents Daniel and French actress Isabelle Adjani who is best known for receiving Cesar Awards for Best actress and created a record break globally.

Kane has been model for almost 4 years and he has been creating a niche for himself amidst his peers in the fashion world. He is now on his tour to Australia as a “special guest for the Stella Artois Caulfield Cup which occurred in October.”

Born and brought up in Paris he was with his mom till his 14 years and then moved with his father and his then-wife in Ireland. After this, he shifted to New York 8 years back to study music and now you can see him often at the eastern side and east village doing some shows. He says: “New York is totally home,” and I am always drawn back there.”

Recently he was seen at a recording studio in Brooklyn to complete his singles. It looks like, he has a bright future as a pop icon someday. Speaking on this he said: “I usually write at home or at a friend’s place. The studio doesn’t feel as comfortable to me just yet.”

Though his life looks fascinating, he always had a feeling that his parents parted ways before he came into the world and they never tied the knot. He spoke saying: “I guess having famous parents makes you grow up a lot quicker that’s for sure.” “I spent a lot of time traveling and moving and had to adapt my life according to my family,” he says. “Having famous parents makes you grow up a lot quicker.”
