New York criminal attorney, Julie Rendelman explained the felonies she’s faced. She explained, “Cardi B has been charged with multiple counts, including two felony counts for Attempted Assault in the Second Degree,” She continued, “Both counts are considered ‘E’ felonies, which is the lowest possible felony in New York. If convicted of either felony, she could be looking at anywhere from probation to a maximum sentence of 4 years incarceration.”
The court will go through the indictment and look into the evidence like video surveillance, 911 calls, police reports etc. Upon reviewing them and conduct their own investigation, they would decide if they want to try to resolve the case pre-trial, or fight this case before a jury.
Jargon aside, it’s gonna take a while before she’s been cleared off all charges.
