The Tech Giant, according to Bloomberg, will roll out a subscription plan of $10 per month against its soon-to-be rivals Disney plus’ cheaper rates of $7 per month. Apple TV+ will likely roll out their services earlier than Disney’s offering by a few days.
Apple has set aside $6 billion of its budget to fund the upcoming service’s original shows and movies in an attempt to make $50 billion in service sales by 2020. It seeks to diversify its income avenues as its smartphone sales continue to plummet.
Pricing is a crucial factor here. It’s $10 fee per month is quite high compared to Netflix’s top tier fee of $9 and Disney’s fee of $7. Besides,Every Disney+ subscription gives its user Free Hulu and ESPN subscription.
