Channel 4 have uncovered the 12 home-dough punchers contending in the ninth period of “The Great British Bake Off”, because of hit screens one week from now.
One of the new group of hopefuls will bring home the pined for the title of Bake Off boss, won a year ago by Sophie Faldo, who was notoriously reported as the victor by judge Prue before the last had circulated. Makers will without a doubt be giving Prue additional updates this time around to keep the outcomes hidden from plain view – and to remain well far from Twitter on finale night, which show in the late harvest time.
So who are the current year’s yearning dough punchers, hoping to follow in the strides of Sophie, Nadiya Hussain, Candice Brown and Nancy Birtwhistle? Also, as ever, it’s a varied blend of novice cooks, including a broker, a researcher, a blood dispatch and a Techno DJ.
The arrangement – which will be the show’s second excursion on new telecaster Channel 4 – comes back with indistinguishable judges and moderators from a year ago: Paul Hollywood, Prue Leith, Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig.
The season will start on Channel 4 on August 28 at 8 PM.
