Jenny Ryan one of the X-Factor contestants was eliminated before but to her surprise, she was called back by one of their judge Simon Cowell.
Jenny stated on Monday that she was heartbroken like any others when was rejected by the pop icon Nicole Scherzinger. She spoke saying: “I came home, cried a little bit, and ate quite a lot of ice-cream. Then I got a phone call after what felt like the longest time. I got a call from Simon Cowell inviting me to come back.”
Adding to this she said “I was not expecting that level of support from the public. After my first audition, the flood of comments I got on social media was overwhelming.” “It was so uplifting and so wonderful. I have to say thank you who took the time to write in and make their feelings known. That wave of affection and admiration is enough to lift anybody.”
Ms. Ryan was an extraordinary singer as she sang “Queen’s song, “Somebody to Love” in another show audition. Social media was on fire when she was eliminated but it was fortunately turned by Simon’s invite for a wildcard.
When she was eliminated many got furious and planned for protesting against the show. The judges came together and decided to consider her previous performances and bring her back.
After much speculations all the 3 judges Louis Walsh, Nicole and Simon agreed to push Jenny to the live shows.
Regarding the comeback, Scherzinger stated: “Jenny was just brilliant at her audition in LA. That voice of hers is one of a kind, and she’s an amazing person to get to know. So it was such a tough decision to make and ‘After a lot of discussions we all agreed we had to put her through. The Overs are gonna smash it this year.”
With a happy note, Jenny said that “I’ve loved every moment of The X Factor and I’m delighted to be able to get the opportunity to perform live and the response from the public has been amazing – what an incredible experience. I’m so pleased it’s continuing.”
On Saturday the next set of contestants performed before the panel and other fleets of high profiles who were present.
