Pokémon Go has mixed with the real world and the virtual and all credits to its location-based gameplay and amplified reality. The anticipation and impression arise when its 30-sec ad for the game helmed by the popular filmmaker Rian Johnson who earlier made movies like Knives Out and Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

The glimpse of the ad shows gamers literally detaching away the world around them to reveal the hidden pokémon, and it was made privately and the production group was in New Zealand while Rian helmed it from Los Angeles.

“Pokémon Go has kept me engaged with my friends remotely as I’ve been practicing physical distancing these past few months,” Johnson said in a statement. “As a longtime Pokémon trainer, it was a real pleasure working with Niantic on this spot. It was a new experience for me to direct a production remotely, and I enjoyed the highly collaborative process and think we put together a fun and upbeat commercial that fans will enjoy.”

The ad was for promoting the next line up of Pokémon Go Fest 2020. But this year the shows will be held virtually and tickets sold will be donated to Black Lives Matter associated causes. The event will commence on July 25th.
