Anchor Ed Henry Fired By Fox News For Sexual Misconduct Allegations

Fox News announced that it sacked its Newsroom anchor ‘Ed Henry’ in response to the sexual misconduct allegations surfaced recently. The anchor is the former White House Correspondent of Fox News channel. The CEO of Fox News, Suzanne Scott announced as below,

“On Thursday, June 25, we received a complaint about Ed Henry from a former employees’ attorney involving willful sexual misconduct in the workplace years ago. We immediately retained an outside law firm (which has never represented Fox News in investigations or litigation) to independently investigate the claims,” they added. “Ed was suspended the same day and immediately removed from his on-air responsibilities pending investigation. Based on investigative findings, Ed has been terminated.”

“We encourage any employee who has sexual harassment, discrimination, or misconduct complaint of any form to report it immediately, as we have said repeatedly over the last four years, ” he also said in a Memo

The network also revealed that the anchors will be rotationally given a choice to anchor the show “America’s Newsroom”
