Techie woman based on Seattle attempts to put an end for cyber-flashing and sexual harassment over the internet. In 2017, the YouGov survey revealed a shocking report that nearly 80% of women using social media are sexually harassed with nude pictures of unknown landing on to their DM inbox. Kelsey Bressler, a developer by profession creates a new plugin called ‘Safe DM‘ which according to her team can stop all the nude pics landing on to their social media inbox.

She just launched the plugin on Valentine’s day and it went viral across the internet all of sudden. Well, developing the plugin is a challenging task for her where she even went for an online drive asking for dick picks to test and program her software to detect and block them.

According to the developer, she had received more than 4000 images of dicks and nudes sent by volunteers across social media. She also proudly claims that the plugin application could save people from significant discomfort or harm. Bressler estimates it will block up to 99% of dick pics.

As of now, the plugin can handle the dick pics sent as DM on the twitter platform. However, the team is working on to expand to other social platforms and other forms of nude pictures.
