One of the popular host of Saturday Night Live might be stepping down soon as per sources. The chief write an icon of the long-running fun show made fun of his upcoming departure in his latest memoir with his “A Very Punchable Face,” and his followers are pretty upset.
With an information acquired from reports, he is said to be “preparing mentally” to go from “SNL” in the coming days but still, he will be a co-host alongside Micheal Che for the “Weekly Update” throughout the U.S 2020 election.

As per Colin he has plans to extend himself with better and bigger ideas. After completing his graduation from Harvard University in 2005, Colin was placed in “SNL” and had been for about 15 years where he was promoted from writer to chief writer and also as the “member of the show’s cast.”

It would be a shame to see the end of the Colin Jost/Michael Che era on SNL's Weekend Update. They're a definite power couple. However, he may want to take his career in a different direction once he and ScarJo get hitched. Either way…all the best to him.🙂

Further, he has been co-anchoring “Weekend Updates” from 2014. SNL will be back from February 29th with anchor John Mulaney and the guest David Byrne at 11.30 p.m ET/ PT on Global.
Apart from this Daniel Craig will also be back with the singer “The Weeknd” on Arch 7th.
“A Very Punchable Face” will go off air after April 14th, but reports it is not true.
Moreover, it is usual for SNL to have rumors on replacing casts every year this time and Colin’s departure is not official and so, it is yet to be confirmed.
