Sadie Sink Felt ‘Empowered’ After Chopping Off Her Long Red Hair

Celebrity hair transformations aren’t a new subject for Hollywood. Sadie Sink,21, Stranger Things star reveals how she felt empowered after chopping off her long red hair. 

Being defined by her long red hair, Sadie’s fans were surprised at her unexpected decisions on her signature look. Asking about the short haircut, Sadie said “Never really thought about cutting my hair in my own life,”  ‘It never crossed my mind to do something like that. But once it happened, I felt very empowered by it.” 

Additionally, Sadie stated “With long hair, It was always such a talking point; my hair was a very defining feature for me. So to get rid of that — especially just turning 21 and stepping into adulthood — that big change felt really exciting.” 

Sadie added she never really thought of cutting hair in her life,  it has been done for her role. She feels the character needs such a change. After getting the haircut she felt empowered it seems. She had her short hair cut in May this year. 

Recently Sadie Sink showcased her new look while she was out with her male friend Evan Karas.  She styled her look with a pair of casual blue overalls, a white tank top, black ballerina shoes, sunglasses, and a cross-body bag.
