Will the American President no more use Google for his searches? While this situation might or might not arise, he is never going to leave the biased accusation settle. It was yesterday (Aug 29) that he posted a video on his official Twitter account with a hashtag that read #Stopthebias. The video which is of unknown origin begins with the words, “For years, Google promoted President Obama’s state of the Union in its homepage and when President Trump took office, Google stopped”. It even shows screenshots from the search giant’s homepage when it highlighted the fact that President Obama’s State of the Union Address could be watched live on YouTube.

We guess Google had already made its point clear when it released a statement telling that the company was neither biased nor supported any political party and that the results were merely based on search algorithms and relevance of keywords. But despite the company’s saying, Trump made it a point to post such a video and Google gave an answer right away. “On January 30, 2018, we highlighted the live stream of President Trump’s state of the Union on the google.com homepage. We have historically not promoted the first address to Congress by a new President, which is technically not a state of the Union address. As a result, we didn’t include a promotion on google.com for this address either in 2009 or 2017”, one of the company’s spokesperson told the media. We guess Trump will have to look on to a lot more technical expertise to prove his point.
