Busy U.S airports go into turmoil amid new Coronavirus screenings introduced by the Trump administration. As a part of the health screenings of passengers returning from Europe in order to contain the spread of Covid-19, the federal government made it mandatory for every traveler to go through the test. Nearly 40,000 passengers in Chicago’s O’ Hare Airport were stranded in long queues for hours together kindling angst. Confusion among the authorities, staff, and passengers created a situation that only made things worse for the federal government.
Illinois governor PB Pritzker who ordered the shutdown of bars and dining rooms in the city took it to Twitter to reveal how incapable the Trump administration was in handling the pandemic.
The crowds & lines O’Hare are unacceptable & need to be addressed immediately.@realDonaldTrump @VP since this is the only communication medium you pay attention to—you need to do something NOW.
These crowds are waiting to get through customs which is under federal jurisdiction

Unavailability of masks and hand sanitizers in the airport and standing in close proximity with other passengers left the travelers furious. Travel from nearly 28 countries including the UK and Ireland have been banned by the U.S amid the Corona scare.
