Thankfully, all 177 who were on-board when Boeing 737 crashed earlier today survived with 52 injured people. The flight reportedly burnt to flames and wrecked into 3 parts at the Istanbul airport today. According to Turkish media, the jet got skidded away from the runway and crashed into a road causing the horrific accident.
The Boeing 737-800 internal flight carrying 177 people from Izmir appears to have skidded in wet weather at Istanbul’s airport in Turkey. Though the footage shows serious damages, none were killed in the accident. The passengers were evacuated through the cracks caused by the impact that split the plane into pieces.
Istanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya told the media that the accident injured 52 people and all of them are hospitalized for treatment.
His office confirmed the plane was carrying 177 people, including six crew members.
