Released on Feb 20, 2020, ‘I Am Not Okay with This ’is a teen drama based on the graphic novel of the same name written by Charles Forsman. Netflix is quite a fan of the author as it is the second adaptation of Charles’ book after the success of ‘The End of the F***ing World’.
Starring Sophia Lillis, Wyatt Oleff, Sofia Bryant, Richard Ellis, and many other young actors, the show revolves around Sydney who tries to cope up with high school amid discovering her surprising superpowers.

With interesting plot twists that are crazy enough to get your head spinning and a pacey screenplay, the Netflix Original is claimed to differ in certain instances from the actual novel. Anger, depression, and anxiety take the front seat as Sydney is also bound to deal with her father’s death. Sophie Lillis delivers a brilliant performance as the protagonist and the show is already set for a season 2 considering the cliffhanger. With 7 20-min episodes, we are definitely looking for the next season.
