The legendary singer, songwriter Billy Joel’s recent concert reminded of his biggest hits. He was seen performing at Madison Square Garden in September which witnessed his new version of his famous song “Modern Woman” which seems to be his preferred in the lives.
He said: “This is a song that was a hit, I’ve never played this ever in concert. This is the first time we’re gonna do this song live. So we may really fuck this up,” At least then you know we’re not on tape and it’ll be an authentic rock n’ roll fuck-up.”
Besides, he and his band members presented the famous “1986’s The Bridge and the Ruthless People Soundtrack.”
Though Billy said it was the first time he did live on “Modern Woman,” sources reported that he did have performed it way back in 1987 on October 31st when he had a concert in Australia. Let’s hope he could not remember it as 32 years since then.
Never mind it still remained fresh when it was presented before the crowd.
Further, the album and the personalities depicted in the song such as “Brenda, Eddie, the Piano Man and Modern Woman” will be adapted in a series named “Scenes from Italian Restaurant.”
