Orphan 3 – One More Installment in Esther’s Dark Journeys

Horror movies are of two kinds. The first category revolves around paranormal forces, and the second is all about abnormal humans with wicked or evil minds. “Orphan” belongs to the second type, where a 33-year-old woman goes under the camouflage of a 9-year-old! Yes, you heard that right! The woman has a rare hormonal disorder called “hypopituitarism,” which stops her growth at a certain age. It results in dwarfism, helping the 33-year-old adult woman pass as a 9-year-old girl!

Isabelle Fuhrman, the American actress, plays the role of Esther, the adult woman who sneaks into homes, seduces men, and kills whole families. Yes, we are talking about a serial killer here! Fuhrman, after starring in the 2009 original – “Orphan,” reprised her role in the 2022 movie of the same franchise – “Orphan: First Kill.” 

And, you know what? Isabelle Fuhrman is back with a bang in the third installment – “Orphan 3.” The plot details of this film have not been disclosed yet. So, O Ye fans of the Orphan saga! Keep your fingers crossed!

The first two installments have proved to be successful, and hopes are high for the third movie in the Orphan saga. In December 2023, Orphan 3 was in the development stage. This month – November 2024, the film was green lit (officially). Fans of the franchise were extremely excited at this news, which is not surprising. Orphan: First Kill’s director, William Brent Bell, and writer,  David Coggeshall, are working on the third installment as well.

So, folks! We can understand the labyrinths and mazes in Esther’s mind slightly better after we watch Orphan 3. The movie is likely to be released in 2025, but we will obtain more information on the entire cast and release date only later. 

The first two installments in the Orphan franchise made us spellbound as we tried to understand the horrifying depths of Esther’s manipulating mind. However, the information we have revealed about Orphan 3 must have rekindled your interest and piqued your curiosity much more than the ways the first two movies did!
