The Tragedy of the Myth Star-Montgomery Clift!

The life of Montgomery Clift has been a disaster from the time his biography was released by Patricia Bosworth in 1978. He was described as a genius and a very charming homosexual or bisexual who was shattered by the pressures of the outside world.

Speaking on this, Clift’s nephew Robert felt he should give a better description of his uncle and stated that: “Making Montgomery Clift” has spilled a lot in the documentary which is written based on various audio records and other memories that had been preserved by Robert’s dad and Montgomery’s brother Brooks.

Montgomery was never an unsuccessful star as per some sources rather he was a brilliant, witty man who etched a place to withstand his uniqueness and sexual identity.

Robert Clift has cleared the air to the misinterpretations and baseless stories that had been doing rounds. But his fans will keep seeing the film as it has so much essence and flavor which is a delight to watch.

There are even audio tapes of Clift’s mom Sunny who is heard interacting with Brook on the biopic released on Montgomery which was penned by Robert LaGuardia and printed in 1977. She is heard furious, distressed, specific, and snooty asking Brook to correct “untruths” that is in the novel and it is also stated by her that her family is “Superior.”

Apart from this, his friend Jack Larson had stated that: “As a person, he was nearer to Jerry Lewis on screen than he was to Montgomery Clift on screen.” “He was one of the most affectionate people I have ever known, and he was affectionate in public.”
