Film director Quentin Tarantino planned to auction seven unseen ‘Pulp Fiction’ scenes along with commentary and handwritten scripts as NFTs. He wants to auction these uncut clips of his landmark 1994 film as NFTs, or non-fungible tokens, with the support of an Israeli company. The buyer is only allowed to view uncut scenes. Bought items can be saved on the blockchain, a permanent digital ledger in which every transaction is recorded and made available to the public. The Tarantino items will be sold in the name of “Secret NFTs,’ created on Secret Network. A new type of technology is designed to keep the images hidden from the public, according to SCRT Labs, the Israeli development company behind the technology.

The famous American screenwriter said in a statement, “I’m excited to be presenting these exclusive scenes from PULP FICTION to fans.” “Secret Network and Secret NFTs provide a whole new world of connecting fans and artists, and I’m thrilled to be a part of that.”NFT artwork has been criticized for releasing items publicly by default, making it the biggest criticism of the technology.
“The secret content itself is one-of-a-kind, has never been seen or heard before, and will include the uncut first handwritten scripts of ‘Pulp Fiction’ and exclusive custom commentary from Tarantino, revealing secrets about the film and its creator,” the statement continued. “The public metadata of the NFT — the ‘front cover’ of this exclusive content — is rare in its own right: a unique, never-before-seen, public-facing work of art.”
Several celebs such as Paris Hilton, Eminem, and Snoop Dogg have put their own tokens. Tarantino’s also comes under the high profile secret launches.
