The Oscar-nominated actor passed away at Jupiter Medical Center in Florida Thursday (Sep 06) morning. He was 82 and is remembered for his epic career in several Hollywood movies including Starting Over (1979), Best Friends (1982), and The Man Who Loved Women (1983). Though he wasn’t much into films in the 90s, he made sure he contributed to the industry in every way possible. His last project “Once Upon A Time in Hollywood” starring Brad Pitt and Leonardo Di Caprio is due for release next November. While the shoot is happening in full swing at Los Angeles, sources claim that the legendary actor passed away before his scenes began filming. While we wish to see him on the silver screen for one last time, the Hollywood community is in great sorrow on Burt’s death.
Arnold Schwarzeneggar was one among the many who took it to Twitter to pay tribute to Brut Reynolds.
Burt Reynolds was one of my heroes. He was a trailblazer. He showed the way to transition from being an athlete to being the highest paid actor, and he always inspired me. He also had a great sense of humor – check out his Tonight Show clips. My thoughts are with his family.

Conan O’ Brien tweeted a video of him interviewing Brut in one of his late-night shows.

The unapologetic and challenging roles played by the actor will always be remembered and it is hard for anyone to replace this void space in Hollywood.
