The highly anticipated and resolutely secured ending to the Avengers chronicle, Avengers: Endgame, will hit theatres on 26 April. Avengers: Infinity War had ended on an exciting climax, full of suspense. Thanos was seen terminating almost 50% of the inhabitants of the universe. Many of Marvel’s superheroes were also seen vanishing into thin air. The assumption about the concluding sequel continues.
Rumours and gossip amplified a thousand times immediately after Marvel released the latest trailer of the film. These are all the captivating ones that have been the talk of the town lately.
The 32 new character posters for Avengers: Endgame released by Marvel last night, gives us a hint as to who survives Thanos’ Snap at the end of Infinity War. The survivors (Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Thor, Hawkeye, the Hulk, Ant-Man, Captain Marvel, Okoye, Nebula, Rocket and Rhodey) were featured in colour posters while the ‘Snapped’ ones were shown in black-and-white. It is also revealed that Shuri, whose fate was undisclosed till now, had also been turned to ashes in Infinity War.
But the highlight was Gamora, one of the Guardians of the Galaxy, who was sacrificed by Thanos in Infinity War. She is seen sporting a sleeveless costume in her character poster similar to the one in the first Guardians of the Galaxy film. She had switched to the long-sleeved jacket in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Infinity War. The possibility that Endgame will have flash backs of events relating to the power stone from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 will undoubtedly add more weight to the time travel theory.
