Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo are one of the successful love stories when it comes to ‘The Bachelorette’ reality show.

But as the couple is currently going through a distance-relationship because of career reasons, rumors started to surface on the internet that the duo is separated and planning for divorce.

However, the couple has decided to put an end to those rumors by addressing them in the media. Rachel Lindsay spoke to an exclusive interview with US Weekly and revealed that the rumors aren’t true. She said,

“What people don’t realize is we were pretty much long-distance before [we got married] with all the traveling that I was doing pre-COVID. I didn’t actually have a place somewhere else, but I was never at home because I was always traveling.”

“And so for us, you know, we know how to work this out and navigate it, and obviously we have an end goal in mind. This is not a forever situation.”

“The reason that we decided to let people in on that is that there was so much speculation about whether or not we were still together. I think some of that is because another couple announced that they were getting divorced.”

“So, then people in Bachelor Nation start looking elsewhere to see if there’s, you know, trouble in paradise somewhere else. So, we thought, OK, we’ll go ahead and address it. And people still think we’re getting a divorce.”

“I don’t want to be on social the whole time. Who am I doing that for, you? No, that’s not for us,” she said. “We’re trying to, like, soak up all the time that we can have with one another.”

Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo Ties The Knot!

August 2019

The love birds of Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo tied the knot on August 24th, 2019 in Mexico’s Royalton Suites Cancun. The newlyweds had announced their engagement 2 years back on Season 13 of the reality show which airs on ABC.

Lindsay 34 opted for an elegant white gown with short sleeves and laces, whereas, Abasolo 39, ravished in a white tuxedo jacket and black pants. They took their vows amidst other Bachelor stars Kristina Schulman, Astrid Loch, and Bibiana Julian.

When Rachel walked down the aisle she was like an “enchanted princess” with the charming Bryan.  The celebration was in awe, happiness and fun-filled stated the wedding organizer Micheal Russo.

Though she had dreamt of a televised wedding like other bachelor power couples “Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici; Tanner Tolbert and Jade Roper; and Chris Randone and Krystal Nielson” she felt it wouldn’t be ideal to do the same. Abasolo is a Miami-based Chiropractician and Lindsay is a proud black woman to go this far in the bachelorette.

Previously an attorney from Texas she is now splitting her time from New York to Florida.  And now she is a co-host of the “bachelor happy hour podcast “along with the Bachelorette alumni Ali Fedotowsky”.  She has also signed recently to be the co-host for “MTV’s upcoming docuseries, Ghosted, with musician/actor Travis Mills”.

Before accepting a 2017 proposal from Abasolo, a Miami-based chiropractor, Lindsay made history as the first black woman to lead The Bachelorette. The former Texas attorney now splits her time between Florida and New York and co-hosts the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast with fellow

March In #BlackLivesMatter Protests Together (June 2020)

“Communication has always been the foundation of our relationship and we always have those tough conversations, so watching Bryan protest and scream ‘Black Lives Matter’ and really get emotional in the whole experience…of course I look over and am like, ‘Gosh, I made the right decision, because he understands me and I understand him,” Lindsay told Entertainment Tonight’s, Lauren Zima. “It was also marching for our future, our future child, who will be Black. I don’t know if they’ll be male or female, but they may face some of these injustices that we’re experiencing right now. So, we’re marching for our future family, and that’s what was representative of what we went out there and did that day.”
