Though star-studded life seems enticing as you get the life unimagined, there are certain times they might regret choosing certain things in life. Well! They are only humans just like us. Regrets come particularly for being a part of certain movies that they think would redefine their career. Some of the celebrities who had regrets include:
Robert Pattinson in ‘Twilight’
In an interview, Robert Pattinson who acted the lead role in the movie ‘Twilight’ revealed that he regretted the more embarrassing elements of the Twilight saga, but his part in the upcoming The Batman will prove that the actor benefited from this early, infamous hit.
Natalie Portman in ‘Thor: The Dark World’
Although Natalie was part of the million-dollar film series in Marvel, she felt bad when her star advantage ended up bad. This was when Natalie brought on board the female director Patty Jenkins to direct the film.
Though she was a renowned film creator her success lasted only for a short time. It was stated that: “After a brief clash over creative direction, Marvel fired Jenkins and forced Portman to continue in her role,” and this soured her experience, and she has yet to reappear in the series.”
George Clooney in ‘Batman & Robin’
The 1997 flick was the next part of Batman Forever and George Clooney was the “Gotham’s infamous vigilante,” a character that Michael Keaton and Val Kilmer had portrayed before.
Unfortunately, George could not do up to the mark and the movie received quite a lot of criticism. Speaking on this Clooney once said that: “the cast and crew — including Clooney and director Joel Schumacher — have tried to disown, and apologize for, Batman & Robin.”
Adding to this he stated that: “Let me just say that I’d actually thought I’d destroyed the franchise until somebody else brought it back years later and changed it. I thought at the time that this was going to be a very good career move. It wasn’t.”
Nicole Kidman in ‘Australia’
Nicole and director Baz Luhrmann was a perfect combo with the film Moulin Rouge in 2002 but this didn’t work out the second time they came back together for the movie Australia.
Kidman stated that: “It’s impossible for me to connect to [the movie] emotionally,” with an Australian radio station. Though the movie was the 3rd highest at the Australian box office it was not her cup of tea.
Sally Field in ‘The Amazing Spiderman’
The Oscar winner Sally Field is cherished as one of the best actresses in Hollywood. But even the cherished star has to face disappointments when she starred in Spider-man.
Sally said that: “expressed regret for taking the role of Aunt May in the 2012 [movie] … The Amazing Spider-Man.”
Though she enacted it as a “favor for a friend” she regretted it when she found there was only little screen space for her character.
