No matter who you are and how much of a big shot you are, one thing’s for certain– You never mess with anyone from Florida.
A pregnant woman from Lithia, about 25 miles southeast of Tampa shot two armed intruders who attacked her house and injured a resident.
On Wednesday night after 9 p.m., two hooded armed intruders busted into the house of Jeremy King and held him at gunpoint. The masked men actually held his 11-year old daughter. The intruders demanded everything what they had to which Jeremy replied ”I have nothing for you.”
Things got violent pretty quick when intruders started whipping him with the pistol. It was then, when Jeremy’s wife who was 8 months pregnant came out with their legally owned assault rifle. The woman’s name was not released but we did a little digging and found Jeremy King on Facebook. And from what it seems she goes bu the name Casey Johns.
“When he came toward the back door in her line of sight, she clipped him,” Jeremy said speaking to NBC. “He made it from my back door to roughly 200 feet out in the front ditch before the AR did its thing.”
Though one of the intruder managed to escape, the other intruder who was injured couldn’t get far and was found dead in a ditch.
Tampa Police said that the assault was not random and was targeted. Jeremy King sustained severe head injury from the intruders’ assault.
“I’ve got a fractured eye socket, a fractured sinus cavity, a concussion, 20 stitches and three staples in my head,” he said.
Doesn’t this family deserve a pat on their back? You can pour in your regards for Jeremy King and Casey Johns.
