Do you know how these documented gang members of Los Angeles got charged for dognapping two of Lady Gaga’s dogs?

On February 24, Lady Gaga’s dog walker Fisher was shot by an unidentified individual, and two bulldogs out of the three were stolen.

Authorities say that the robbery and attempted murder were solely initiated because of the dog’s breed value rather than their owner’s popularity.

Five people, namely James Jackson, 18, Jaylin White, 19, Lafayette Whaley, 27, Harold White, 40, and Jennifer McBride, 50, were arrested on Tuesday for allegedly kidnapping Lady Gaga’s two bulldogs Koji and Gustav, and for shooting the dog walker in the chest.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office spokesperson confirmed to Fox News that the defendants were arraigned in court on Thursday afternoon and pleaded innocent.

McBride pleaded that she was responding to the reward mail and had no part in the dognapping while the others pleaded not guilty without any reason as such.

Jackson, who was recognized as the shooter, and Whaley was charged with attempt murder, second-degree robbery, and the possession of an illegal firearm. The Whites were charged as accessories to the crime, while McBride was charged for possession of the stolen property.

Following their plea, McBride was given bail with an ankle monitor while bail was granted to Jackson at $3 million, Jayline at $1 million, Whaley at $1.1million, and at $35000 for Harold White.

Fischer is currently recovering now, the dogs were returned to their owner, and the next hearing is scheduled on May 11.
