Finally, millions of fans around the world made peace with it. Joaquin Phoenix wins the Oscars 2020 for the best actor category. He said “I’m really standing on the shoulders of my favorite actor, Heath Ledger” to tribute the legendary actor. With this award, Joaquin becomes the second Joker to win the Oscar after Heath Ledger playing the villain role against the Batman.

Phoenix was sweeping several awards back to back for his role as Arthur Fleck in the movie, ‘Joker’, a social outcast whose shattered dreams of being a hit stand-up comedian lead him down a dark path to becoming the infamous Batman villain.
