Radio Presenter James Whale Affected By Brain, Spine, Kidney and Lung Cancer!

The popular radio presenter James Whale stated the previous night that he has been affected with cancer in four major organs post 20 yrs of removing one of his kidneys due to tumor.

Speaking to ‘The Sun’ he said: ‘This little b** has spread. It’s in my remaining kidney. I’ve got a couple of small lesions in my lungs. I’ve got it in my spine. I’ve got it in my brain.’

James 69 who had earlier lost his wife Melinda to lung cancer 2 yr back got this shocking news just two weeks before and has promised to overcome it with confidence so that he can make a comeback.

Adding to this he stated that he was urged to see a physician when he couldn’t remember names during his show and his blood tests revealed that he had insufficient sodium and he was sent to a hematologist who told the news.

Going through his diagnosis on Sunday he found he has to undergo treatment again and prior to that he was informed that cancer has spread more than before in his Kidneys and he has small abrasions in his brain, lungs, and pituitary glands.

After hearing this James told that he was thinking of euthanasia and even went to an extent of going to Swiss non-profit Dignitas who offer assistance to suicide.

Whale added that: ‘I came home, had a little think about things. I decided I’m just booking myself a trip to Dignitas. You might as well just go and get it over with.’

‘I’d looked into it quite some time ago because Melinda died two years ago and it’s been something in the back of my mind.’

But he was later persuaded by his son to get assistance from Kidney Cancer UK which he found post his first diagnosis back in 2000.

Now he has received help from a doctor who will give treatment for his disease and is on immunotherapy and hormone replacement treatment as well which is believed to remove his tumors.
