Dua Lipa, 25, won both best female solo artist and the coveted best album at this year’s BRIT awards, and the singer made history as the first female group to win the best British group prize.

After winning her award, Lipa recalls her memory stating “last time I was up here, accepting this award in 2018, I said that I wanted to see more women on these stages, and I feel so proud that three years later, we see that happen, and it is such an honor to be a part of this wave of women in music.”

The event took place at London’ O2 Arena with an around 4,000-strong audience with no social distancing or face masks. 2,500 tickets were given to key workers from the greater London area

During the ceremony, Dua Lipa dedicates one of her awards to Dame Elizabeth Anionwn, nurse and lecturer. She said to the audience that “it’s very good to clap for them, but we need to pay them, and so I think what we should do is we should all give a massive, massive round of applause, and give Boris a message that we all support a fair pay rise for our frontline.”

The award show ratings have fallen more than a million because viewers are sick of hearing stars using their speeches to discuss politics. The award show has become ‘more about music than politics’, following Dua Lipa’s speech to call for an NHS pay rise from PM Boris Johnson.

Well, the weekend has been special for the lovebirds’ Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid as Dua entered her 25^th year.

The occasion was celebrated at the Malibu beach with close pals and new dog Dexter.

The two time Grammy winner was seen in a bikini top and shorts as the pair walked in the white sand. Meanwhile, Anwar’s older sister Gigi wished her through her social media on her special day.

The bikini top was all colorful with graffiti prints and the unique swimsuit had a silver chain hanging in the middle with a triangle.

She was seen with poppers and a white script pattern below her legs.

Further, she opted for a no-makeup look flaunting her natural beauty with her locks tied to a sleek knot.

Whereas for Anwar he was in a cool black shirt with short sleeves which revealed his chest and he matched it with board shorts.

The pair were seen enjoying their day as they were running in the shore with their puppy and Dua later kneeling down to pamper the puppy.

Back in the day,the pregnant Gigi posted a loving black and white throwback picture which saw her along with the singer and she captioned it as ‘sister’.

She wrote: ‘HAPPY BDAY DEXTER’S MOM @dualipa. You’re a special one & deserve the best. love u sister.’

Meanwhile, like her elder sister Bella 23, also posted a picture of them and called her as ‘cutest, smartest, most hard-working, loving, generous bean of all time.’ She went on to say: ‘You are sweet as pie … a blessing to our fam and the world Love u sister.’
