The eminent director in recent days is David Ayer who has been captivating the audience with his movies like Bright, End of Watch, and Suicide Squad and so on.
He is now on talks with prominent production of Simon Kinberg who helmed X-Men: Dark Phoenix and have produced other series in the X-Men for remaking the 1944 flick Dirty Dozen.
The actual film deals with a gang of prisoners who are given a deal to be freed in return they are supposed to do a suicide mission in the rival’s boundaries in Germany. The movie was helmed by Robert Aldrich and had a star-studded cast of Lee Mervin, Ernest Borgnine, and Charles Bronson, etc.
The Suicide Squad was inspired by Dirty Dozen which also revolves around a group of disorganized victims and villains on a mission.
David’s latest flick Bright didn’t go well at the box office. Now he is busy with the post-production of a film called “The Tax Collector” with Shia LaBeouf. Whereas Suicide Squad is also expected to get a restart in the name of “ The Suicide Squad” which is going to be directed by the Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn.
Dirty Dozen is set to be made with today’s scenario and sources are yet to confirm it.
