The Total Recall actress Sharon Stone’s profile was locked out of her account from Bumble, a prominent dating site.
What could be a worse nightmare than dating in your 60s? Well, after the incident the Golden Globe Award winner will certainly agree that it is to get kicked out of a dating app on the pretext of having a fake profile.
Here is what she lamented on Twitter after getting blocked from the dating website
“I went on the @bumble dating site (not a site in a quote) and they closed my account,” she said.
“Some users reported that it couldn’t possibly be me! Hey @bumble, is being me exclusionary? Don’t shut me out of the hive,” she added, with a bumble site emoji.
She then tweeted a screenshot of bumble’s personal message to her about the blocking of her account, “Your account has been blocked because we’ve received several reports about your profile being fake.”

Following her tweet, many fans jumped in to fancy the lady with a dating request and re-tweeted her post.
Later Bumble put back the actress’s account, saying it was “so honored that Ms. Stone wants to be a part of the Hive.” and apologized for the error.
There can only be one 👑 Stone. Looks like our users thought you were too good to be true. We’ve made sure that you won’t be blocked again. We hope that everyone in our community takes a sec to verify their profiles. (Catherine Tramell from Basic Instinct gets a pass today!)
