It’s been two months since Naya Rivera passed away by a tragic drowning and now one of her fellow actor Amber Riley honored her in today’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!
The star used the stage to give a tribute to her fellow actress and pal who went so early.
She began singing: ‘God knows I’m tired…and it just hits you like a bullet/Now I need a moment alone with my soul/I can’t stop these thoughts,’ with pictures of Rivera displaying behind.
Adding to this the song gave the touch of a classic feel and vibe in the era of Gloria Gaynor and Aretha Franklin as the clip ran in black and white.
As for the words they looked perfectly adapting to the situation and the way she felt while grieving for the late star: ‘Everybody thinks I’m okay/But nobody knows the way I’m really feeling/Only heaven knows that nothing hurts more than falling…set me free. I’m ready to cry…just let it be.’

Her incredible voice and felt was sure to make the people in attendance chills and captivate their hearts.
It also appears Amber honored Naya via her social media in July.
Her post read: ‘[Miss] you baby girl and I love you #NayaRivera. I am so mad the world will never see just how high you could’ve soared. Her brain was brilliant. She was smart and quick as a whip. Always had me in stitches, we’d be in tears laughing so hard at one another. There was never any competition, or shade, or intimidation with us. Just pure adoration and respect. You deserved better. You were so much more than just this show. Your talent outshined us all so many times!’
