Everything You Must Know about Alyssa Edwards

Birth and Childhood

Justin was born on the 16th of January 1980. He was part of a working-class family, which included his sisters. When they were cheerleaders, Justin frequently wished that he could join them in their practice sessions. He was not interested in sports and was shy. But he was pretty creative. According to Justin, his father used to be “very, very masculine,” and his mother was “the wind beneath (Justin’s) wings.”

Career Journey

Justin adopted the stage name, “Alyssa Edwards,” to honor the famous personality, “Alyssa Milano,” and his drag mom, “Laken Edwards.” Laken Edwards was a former drag queen. 

Edwards had the chance to appear in “Pageant,” the 2008 documentary. It focused on 2006’s thirty-fourth Miss Gay America pageant. In 2012, Edwards found an opportunity to compete among 14 drag queens for the 5th season of RuPaul’s Drag Race. And, he was able to win in the ballet-themed challenge of that season.

Edwards continued to perform as a drag queen and won several awards and accolades. He became popular because of “Alyssa’s Secret,” his web series.
