Politician George Santos confirms he’s on weight-loss drug Ozempic

Politician George Santos revealed he is on Ozempic. When he appeared on Meghan McCain’s podcast, “Meghan McCain Entered the Chat”, Santos opened up about taking Ozempic for weight loss. 

Back in January 2022, when Santos discovered his weight was 350 pounds, he said “ No, this has to change.” In December 2022, he checked his weight again, but this time he indeed had a change. “ I weighed myself in before the New Year rang in and I was 251 pounds, so that’s 99 pounds in a year,” said Santos.

In the podcast, Santos tells McCain he is a pre-diabetic, and that’s the major reason he took Ozempic. He added that it was rather helpful, the FDA should look into this, and consider this as an option for weight loss. According to Santos, obesity is the major cause of death in the country. 

Due to pre-diabetes, he will continue taking the drug forever, says it is fantastic, and he loves it.

Similar to Ozempic, Wegovy and Mounjaro are the other two hottest drugs evolving around Hollywood and on the Upper East Side. 

Elon Musk, Tracy Morgan, Sharon Osbourne, and Micheal Rubin are some of the other celebrities using the slimming shot.
