Kris Jenner Exposed for Buying Her Kids ‘Fake’ Chanel Watches

In a new episode of “The Kardashians,” Kourtney Kardashian reveals that her mom gave her kids knockoff accessories. As one of the most iconic celebrity moms, Kris Jenner’s kids never miss a chance to keep her on her toes — yet humble.

In the latest episode, which aired on March 20th, Kris Jenner was confronted about a time when she may or may not have purchased Chanel dupes during the early days of her reality TV career.

While Kourtney was preparing for her grandmother’s 90th birthday over FaceTime with her mother, she showed her Chanel scarf party favors and recalled the time her mom bought her and her siblings fake Chanel watches one Christmas.

Kourtney said, “You said that they were stolen off of a truck,” as she revealed the shocking source of the tip. She went on to say, “Kathie Lee Gifford told you that they were hot off a truck and that they were real.”

In her video byte, Kourtney gave more details about the hilarious, unforgettable moment: “Year one of our show, my mom gave us all these Chanel — ‘Chanel’ — watches for Christmas. And they just slowly started chipping, and the diamonds would fall out. We were like, ‘Mom, these watches — if these are real, that’s crazy.’ Then she told us, ‘I bought them from a truck.’” She also mentioned that her mom was thrilled to have spent “five times” her $1,000 paycheck on a “hot watch.”

When asked about the situation, Kris said she couldn’t remember whether the accessories were real or fake Chanel or if they were even “hot” to begin with. And when asked if she was “pleading the fifth,” she replied, “Yes.”

Of course, it’s hard to picture Kris Jenner standing in line for a fake Chanel, as her designer wardrobe is as authentic as it gets. And when it comes to vintage pieces, she knows how to make a statement. One memorable moment was when she wore a 2005 crested Chanel blazer, famously worn by Anne Hathaway in The Devil Wears Prada.

With all her kids now grown up, Kris is often on the lucky side of luxurious gifting. Back in December, she received a $4,000 Goyard duffle bag from her youngest daughter, Kylie Jenner. The bag was personalized at a much higher price with illustrations of all of Kris’ kids as children.
