The leading Australian actress and stage director Cate Blanchett has now been on talks to sell her Waterfront retreat along with her husband for a sum of $ 1.175 million. The property is located in the outer parts of Sydney as per sources.
The duo has estimated to sell it to an approx of $1.6 to $1.75 million as per market rates. The place was bought by the couple in 2014 for $1.495 million and has been used for staying on weekends.
Further, the house can be accessed only through boats or private jets as it situated at River Hawksberry in Berowra Creek. The house features enticing water views and the windows from floor to ceiling, a contemporary kitchen and a self-contained flat.
This was got after the actress and her husband Andrew gave their enthralling trophy abode in Sydney’s Hunter Hill in 2017 for a whopping $ 20 million.
Sources say that still the price is not finalized as per the information was given by realty agent Ken Jacobs of Christie International. The house was sold way back in 2015 after a Chinese realtor failed to repay.
The 1877 Gothic based interior home was put up in the market when the pair was disappointed prior to their moving. The plush abode named Bulwarra is nestled in the North Shore and has ravishing interiors and open-plan lifestyle.
