The biopic of Aretha Franklin has Jennifer Hudson, Forest Whitaker in the lead and for the role of “Mama Franklin,” Kimberly Scott has been on board. Scott has earlier done stage productions for Tommy for the play “Ruined” and global premiere of “Party People.”
Further, she was chosen for a Tony award for “August Wilson’s Joe Turner’s Come and Gone.” She repeatedly was seen in “Bob Hearts Abishola” and some of her movies include, Love and Other Drugs,” “The Great Buck Howard,” “K-Pax,” “Batman and Robin,” “Batman Forever,” “The Client,” “Falling Down” and James Cameron’s “The Abyss.” Scott is represented by manager Steven Adams.”
Apart from movies, Whitaker has incepted an organization called “Whitaker Peace and Development Initiative (WPDI) in Athlone on the Cape Flats on November 14.” He had experienced major success through his peace services that his foundation has reached great heights.
Forest had learned and gained experience from Williams for peace and meditation ideas in 2012 prior to starting his foundation. He also got ideas from “City of Cape Town councilor Mlungisi Noludwe; former President of the University of the Western Cape (UWC) convocation Songezo Maqula; Gilda Jacobs from Hangberg” and so on who were in attendance at the peace training meet.
