Amy Beth Schumer is an American stand-up comedian, actress, writer, and producer, who was born on June 1, 1981. In the early 2000s, Amy ventured into comedy before appearing as a contestant on the fifth season of the NBC reality competition series in 2007. She was the creator, co-writer, co-producer, and star of the Comedy Central sketch comedy series from 2013 to 2016. She was nominated for five Primetime Emmy Awards, received a Peabody Award, and won the Outstanding Variety Sketch Series in 2015.
Amy Beth Schumer struggled during pregnancy, suffering from extreme sickness. So, she underwent an emergency c-section which was riddled with complications due to her endometriosis. In 2021, both her uterus and appendix were removed. So, she decided to rebuild her fitness from the bottom up.
Amy Schumer revealed that she tried Ozempic for weight loss a year ago. However, she experienced unexplainable side effects, including nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. She felt sick and was unable to engage in physical activities with her son.
Sometime later, Amy realized that she had had enough health issues and unsuccessful ways to lose weight. She later tried liposuction, and now, she feels good! She encourages people to be real and open about their weight loss journeys.
