While it was a pretty doomed month for the Netflix’s most-watched series Riverdale with the passing of Luke Perry, we get to witness the versatility of the deceased actor’s performance for one last time. The 53-year old whose Hollywood career took off with Beverly Hills 90210, had been delivering a commendable performance as Fred Andrews, Archie’s father, in the hit series. Ever since the actor’s demise on March 4 due to stroke, the cast and crew of Riverdale had been paying their tributes on Twitter with the latest one coming from show creator Roberto Aguirre Sacasa about Luke Perry’s last episode being aired on the CW on April 24 (Wednesday).
This week’s #Riverdale is the last episode Luke filmed. As always, Fred’s imparting words of wisdom to Archie. A beautiful, true moment between a father and his son. Wish these scenes could go on forever…❤️🏆💎👨🏻💻 pic.twitter.com/meokbvo0Wt

We’re still unsure about how the crew would take the character played by Luke in the upcoming episodes, but the void he has left can hardly be filled by a replacement. Of course, his warm presence and the portrayal of a caring father was one of a kind.
