Pierce Brendan Brosnan is an Irish actor and film producer who was born on 16 May 1953. He was the fifth actor to play James Bond in the film series of the same name. In 1982, he received two Golden Globe Award nominations, for the mini-series Nancy Astor, and the dark comedy film, The Matador in 2005.
