Zendaya Returns to Met Gala after 5-Year Hiatus

Well… the 27-year-old actress is excited about the grand event, but she also feels it’s somewhat “terrifying!” She last attended the event in 2019, and she is making a comeback after a 5-year break. Zendaya says, “Going up the steps is very daunting, and I haven’t been back for maybe four or five years. So this is, like, my first time back at the Met in quite a while.”

Zendaya recently appeared on “Live with Kelly and Mark,” where she shared her thoughts on herself and the much-awaited gala. The event is usually associated with a particular theme every year, and the young actress has so far appeared in nothing-less-than-stunning outfits styled according to the themes.

In 2015, she stole the show in a black and red Fausto Puglisi dress. And, in 2019, she made heads turn in a gorgeous Cinderella gown. Overall, designers have to fight with each other to have their attires worn by the beautiful and charming actress!

Zendaya is not ready to spill the beans on what she is planning to wear for the Met Gala, 2024. However, she has given a shout-out to her stylist, Law Roach. The duo have been working together since Zendaya was 14. The theme for this year’s Met Gala is “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.” People are just waiting to see the actress dressed in her best on the red carpet!
