Comedy, action, thriller, romance… Sandra Bullock has tried almost all genres in movies and has succeeded in proving her mettle in all of them. By and large, Bullock’s career spans decades, and she has proved to be amazingly talented, witty, and gorgeous.

Sandra Annette Bullock is the American actor’s full name. She was born on the 26th of July, 1964, in Arlington County, Virginia. Bullock was raised in Germany until she was 12. As a child, she was trained in local arts and ballet. If you look at Bullock closely, you can see a scar above one of her eyes, which she got as a kid when she accidentally fell into a creek! She studied at Washington-Lee High School. Here, she became a cheerleader and also performed roles in her school’s theater productions. 

 

Bullock had the breakthrough of her career when she was cast alongside Keanu Reeves in the movie called “Speed.” This happened in 1994, and the film became a smash-hit blockbuster. Bullock plays the role of Annie Porter, a passenger in the bus that’s rigged by a psycho. In the movie, she has to drive the bus with all its passengers to safety. Bullock continued to act in several films, including a romantic comedy by the name of, “While You Were Sleeping.” “A Time to Kill” was yet another movie where Bullock played a highly significant role. The movie did very well at the box office. It was based on the novel (of the same name) by author, John Grisham. 

 

Bullock starred in many other movies, such as “Miss Congeniality,” “Murder by Numbers,” and “Two Weeks Notice.” She also acted in “The Proposal” and “The Heat.” She is also known for her role in “Gravity.” She now owns “Fortis Films,” a production company. She is popularly known as “America’s Sweetheart.” Added to these, in 2010, she was listed by Time magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
