Facts About The Charming Channing

The handsome and charming Channing Tatum was born in Alabama. While growing up, he was a bit troublesome, and so, his parents got him involved in lots of activities, like football, baseball, and track. Young Channing was more interested in playing football when compared to the other games. Through this sport, he was able to get an athletic college scholarship to a notable school located in West Virginia. 

Once, Channing Tatum joked that girls were his biggest distraction when he was in school! Many would know that the actor is multi-talented. As he grew up, he learned dancing, which he was able to use in films like “Step Up.” He has also earned belts in Kung Fu and other types of martial arts. Even when he started doing jobs at a later stage in life, he donned many hats, such as a construction worker, and then as a mortgage broker. Later, Channing Tatum became a model, which also paved the way for his acting career. He has acted in several movies like 21 (and 22) Jump Street, G.I.Joe: The Rise of Cobra and its sequel, The Vow, White House Down, and others. 

 

As for Channing Tatum’s personal life, he got married to Jenna Dewan (who also starred in the movie, “Step Up”) in 2009. But it ended in a divorce in 2019. The couple has a daughter named, Everly Tatum. Channing has had a couple of romantic relationships after his divorce. 

 

Even though he has encountered his share of problems in his personal life, he made sure that they did not impact his role as an actor. Channing has worked frequently with director, Steven Soderbergh. A few of the movies in which he has worked and succeeded in his acting are The Lost City, Magic Mike, and Side Effects. Side Effects is a psychological thriller starring Jude Law and Rooney Mara, along with Channing Tatum. 

 

Added to all these, the actor has authored two picture books that were inspired by his daughter, Everly!
