‘The Nun 2’ will see Taissa Farmiga returning as Sister Irene

And we are here for it! Taissa Farmiga will also be joined by A Wrinkle In Time star Storm Reid in this sequel. Michael Chaves, who has previously directed 2021s The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It will be this film’s director. James Wan of The Conjuring franchise will be the writer and producer.
In the original The Nun movie set in 1952 Romania, Sister Irene fought along with Father Burke to fend off the possession of the demon nun Valak. Set for release in September 2023, ‘The Nun 2’ will follow Farmiga’s character as Sister Irene and Bonnie Aarons as Valak.
2018’s ‘Nun’ earned $366 million worldwide and became the highest-grossing chapter in the $2 Billion The Conjuring Universe.
