Nearly 46% of Americans want the multi-talented Dwayne “the rock” to run for U.S elections. Earlier, many times, Dwayne spoke on the possibility of running for president. Even last month he said he’d run for the president if people wanted him to.
In 2021, Piplsay released a poll that surveyed about 30,138 individuals asking their opinion on which celebrities they would like to see as president. The poll found that 29% supported Johnson and Matthew McConaughey, whereas 17% supported Johnson running solo.

The WWF champion responded to the poll by posting a screenshot of the Newsweek article about the Piplsay post and wrote “Humbling, I don’t think our Founding Fathers EVER envisioned a six-four, bald, tattooed, half-Black, half-Samoan, tequila drinking, pick up truck driving, fanny pack-wearing guy joining their club – but if it ever happens it’d be my honor to serve you, the people.”

On the other side, McConaughey also has the same fanbase as Dwayne. In a recent interview, the 51-year-old magic mike star said, “I have a new chapter for myself, personally in my life. I believe it is in some sort of leadership role,” he recently said. “I don’t know what that role is. I don’t know my category. We’ve been talking about the ‘why’ of leadership, and even, I would say, we need some more good leaders.”
Though Biden has more years as president, this poll also found that 46% of Americans feel that celebrities are “free to do what they want,” and 81% believe that celebrity opinions influence public opinion.
