‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ Star Carol Potter remembers the crazy memories of Luke Perry where she would flirt and talk dirty. She also revealed that her daughter Shannen Doherty was on-screen dating the actor.
The actress Carol Potter was featured as the mom to teenage twins Brenda Walsh (Shannen Doherty) and Brandon Walsh (Jason Priestley) on the iconic 90s Fox drama. According to the story, Carol let it spill that she had a bit of an off-screen crush on Brenda’s TV boyfriend, late actor Luke Perry, who played heartthrob Dylan McKay.
“We would flirt!” Carol dished to Jennie and Tori, who played Brenda’s West Beverly High pals and classmates Kelly Taylor and Donna Martin on the show. “We used to joke [about everyone having crushes on Luke] all the time.… We’d talk dirty to each other!” Oh my goodness Mrs. Walsh! Carol also revealed that she had the “biggest crush.”
“We weren’t warm and fuzzy. I mean, we had some nice scenes together, but I never felt that close to Shannen. I felt really close to James [Eckhouse].”
“When Tiffani came, she and I had a blast,” Potter dished. “She would just shoot the sh*t back and forth…We would play when we were working on the scene. My sense of Shannen is she was…doing her thing. I didn’t feel like there was a lot of space for me.”

Fans of ‘Luke Perry, a legendary actor who passed away recently are pissed off by the fact that Oscars 2020 excluded his name in the ‘In Memoriam’ segment. The award ceremony used to pay tribute to notable celebrities who passed away during the segment. While the segment paid tribute to some celebrities like Kobe Bryant, Doris Day, and Kirk Douglas, many other actors were left out of the segment.
Especially, the fans of the actor, Luke Perry, started storming twitter questioning the exclusion and credibility. Academy Awards responded to the disappointed audience that, ” Academy receives hundreds of requests to include loved ones and industry colleagues in the Oscars In Memoriam segment. An executive committee representing every branch considers the list and makes selections for the telecast based on the limited available time” the statement which made them more frustrated.

How the f*k is Luke Perry not in the In Memorium segment? He was in a movie nominated for best picture for God sakes!— Jeff Baker (@Jeff_S_Baker) February 10, 2020
Now two of the most creative and talented men I have ever known, loved, and lost have not been mentioned in the #oscars memoriam. First, my Dad Aaron Spelling who passed in 2006 and now my friend Luke Perry who passed in 2019. 😢

The lame Oscars people forgot to include one talented actor in the In Memoriam segment – despite his appearing in one of the most-nominated movies of the year. So, below is my addendum to the In Memoriam.
