Britain’s Got Talent is back with a bang to the screen this evening for the live semis and maintaining social distance has been the highlight at today’s sneak peek.
The panel of judges is compelled to sit at a distance for shooting and they are arranged one behind another in the same desk. Further Amanda Holden David Walliams and Alesha Dixon have their own spaces and the fourth judge is Ashley Banjo who has replaced Simon Cowell as he is out due to his spine injury.
Further, the clips also saw presenters Ant and Dec where Dec has his co-presenter Ant’s face mask on him.
The first group of participants is seen there, along with Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer Fayth Ifil on the stage.
She will be competing against dancer Yakub who had been impressing on air on the stage. Other contestants would be Urban Turtles, comic Steve Royle, and danger magic act James Stott, etc.
Few others to entertain viewers are Croydon singer Imen Siar, chori SOS From The Kids, Dad-son magic performers James and Dylan Piper was also seen.
The auditions of BGT were held at the beginning of the year but the main competition stopped post they completed in May due to the novel coronavirus.
It is now back with more safety and health precautions in place with pre-recording the semi-finals without any audience.
Moreover, the grand finale will be on life as usual with Dec stating earlier that: “We’ve got no audience in the studio, but we’ve got a massive virtual audience.”
“So we’ve got 500 people on a huge wall in the studio, sat at home watching it. It’s really really good.”
Besides, Ant said that: “It’s tough for the acts, especially the comedians, to come out and perform in front of nobody and so we needed something and they’ve come up with this, which is a very clever idea.”
