A Fashion Designer Comes Up With an LED Face Mask Check it Out!

When the ongoing pandemic began fashion entrepreneur Chelsea Klukas of Lumen Couture decided to do make some designer face masks for her close surroundings.

Even the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention urge people to wear DIY face masks to stay away from the virus.

The label has a whole range of tech-based line of outfits, hoodies, costumes, and Klukas turned it to masks when all their sales halted. And this is where the designer thought of bringing in a cool face mask.

She shared with the Verge that: “I had the components around, so I put together a quick DIY YouTube tutorial for how to make them.” “That really blew up, to the point where people were asking me for a ready-to-wear mask.”

Chelsea also said that she didn’t want to use the profit gained amidst pandemic and so she gave it to WHO COVID-19 relief from June starting with a sum of $5000.

Clients who purchased the safety masks were totally different from her usual ones continued Chelsea and she witnessed more men clients more than she thought most of who were not fashionistas.

She also stated that having masks can enable them to make their outfit a signature one. “I think we are seeing the introduction of mask-wearing as a new form of expression. Other fashion designers are picking up on this too, I think we will start to see like the Rolex version of masks.”
