If rumors are rife BBC bosses were eyeing on to grab Phillip Schofield for millions of pounds as the 58 yr olds contract is ending by 2021 with ‘This Morning.’

But sources stated that ITV is planning to retain his position who is said to get paid with £1million annually to sustain his long time show ‘This Morning’ alongside his co-host Holly Willoughby 39.

Post the reports of BBC’s deal Phillip took to twitter in his show and shared his future with ITV.

One worried follower asked the host with his tweet whether the speculations are true and added saying: “This would surely be the WORST decision ever to make.”

Yet another said: “@Schofe please please don’t say that you and Holly are leaving this morning?”

To this Phillip responded: “Course not” with a teary and laughter emojis.

If at all he signs a deal with BBC then it would be the end of an era with his co-presenter Holly on the show. But if he moves to the Beeb then will become a complete circle in his career.

He began his career at 17 when sold tea at the Broadcasting House in London and wrote asking for a job.

Post shifting to ITV he overtook ‘This Morning’ in 2002 as co-presenter along with Fern Britton and then after 2009 he hosted with Holly as co-host.
