Ramy Next Season Takes Wince Comedy to a Gloomy and Funny Place!

Quickly after the end of season 1, Hulu’s Ramy or Ramy Hassan (Youssef) starts coming back from his tour to Egypt completely stressed. He goes to the country trying uplifting his spirituality and to join with his family but he ends up making out with his cousin.

After he comes to New Jersey he couldn’t control masturbating or having candy and so he plans to come out of this and dedicate himself to be a better Muslim which comes as the end of season 1.

And now this comes as the main plot of season 2 and his aim to be a devotee makes him quit from his mosque and promises to be a spiritual leader himself. To achieve this process Sheikh Ali accepts to teach. But in vain as he bumps into a porn star even after he stops watching adult films. He also fails to achieve his spirituality and brings in Sheikh Ali to his mosque that he barely knows and eventually resulting in disaster.

The final episode of the last season states that Season 2 has a darker scenario than its previous one which earlier had several scenes with comedy.  If you go deep into spirituality, Ramy goes for it as a requirement. It’s quite disgusting as several episodes of it had the most awful scenes yet with little empathy and warmth.
